Jeffery Allen Kennedy

Jeffery Allen Kennedy, 60, of Zanesville, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2020 at Genesis Hospital. Jeffery was born May 14, 1959 to the late Reginald and Marjorie (Snack) Kennedy. In addition to his parents, Jeffery is also preceded in death by his brother, Gregory "Greg" Kennedy; and his first wife, Diana Kennedy.
Jeffery leaves to mourn his passing, his life partner of many years, JoAnna Lighthizer; his children, Mindi Kennedy, John (Misty) Kennedy, Misty (Eric) Kennedy, Melanie Murphy, Chris (Joranda) Dyer, Stephanie Allen, Tenika (Jeremy) Ridenour, and Amber McManes; beloved grandchildren, Brandi, Laikin, Shelbi, Joey, Christopher, John, Jr., Madison, Kaisean, Brooke, Drake, Trent, Kristin, Alijuh, C.J., and Aliyuh; 11 great-grandchildren; siblins, Twila (John) Quinn, Sheila (Mike) Hommand, Raymond (Shannon) Kennedy, Leroy (Barb) Kennedy, Starla Kennedy and Lavina Kennedy; unlce, Carlos Mayle; special pets, Sophie and Seirra; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
Jeffery was a skilled mechanic and he thoroughly enjoyed his work. In his free time, you could find him in his garage, or riding any motorcycle he could get his hands on. He particularly enjoyed Harley Davidson. Above all else, Jeffery loved to spend time with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren. You may call on the family Thursday, April 23, 2020 from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Per the family's wishes, cremation will follow. Please be advised that per CDC recommendation, guests will be asked to wear a self-provided face covering. A maximum of 50 mourners will be permitted.
