John Allan Wells Sr.

John Allan Wells Sr., 77, of Zanesville Ohio, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2025, at his home with his family by his side. John was born on September 25, 1947, to Bryson and Katherine (Baughman) Wells. In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by his children, James Lee Wells and Thomas Vinton Wells; siblings, Juanita E. Wells, Delores Parshall, Lucille (Ralph) Wright and sister-in-law, Shirley Wells.

John leaves to cherish his memory, his children, John (Heidi) Wells Jr., Kelli Hartley and Michael (Lori) Wells; mother of his children, Gay Morgan; siblings, Donna (Don) Roberts and Jerry Wells; grandchildren, Brandon Wells, Nicole (Randy Euman) Wells, Chelsie (Ben Drake) Wells, Lexy (Brett) Bianchi, Kristen (Joshua Hashman) Hunt and Wade Hartley; great grandchildren, Jocelyn Ford, Jayda Wells, Ashton Wells, Carter Terrill, Vinton Wells and Nolan Bianchi; as well as many other friends and family. 

John was a simple man. He enjoyed going to meet his breakfast, lunch and dinner crew, where they would meet up at different restaurants to fellowship. John was a member of the Eagles 302. He enjoyed going bowling and dancing. John will be deeply missed by all that knew him. 

You may call on the family on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. with funeral services starting at 1 p.m. at Burrell Funeral Services in Zanesville. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
