Jose Alberto Perez

Jose Alberto Perez, 60, of Zanesville, Ohio, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Genesis Hospital. Jose was born June 14, 1964, in Ponce, Puerto Rico, son of the late Juanita and Earnest Perez. In addition to his parents, Jose is also preceded in death by Migdalia, Francisco and Carlos.

Jose leaves to mourn his passing, his beloved and cherished wife, Voncile Perez; his daughters, Alicia and Shakeria; son, Antwan; as well as Hector, Maria, Wanda, Angel, Jorge, Angel L.; and a host of other loved ones and friends. 

Jose was an awesome man. He would help any and everyone he came across. Jose was hardworking, a true family man, taking care of his wife and children. He was a wonderful husband and devoted father. In his free time, he loved to go fishing. Jose also loved to root for his favorite football team, the New York Giants. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. 

Per the family's wishes, cremation has been chosen, and no services will be observed at this time. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
