Joyce Elizabeth (Matheney) Harrier

Joyce Elizabeth Harrier, 72, of Zanesville, Ohio, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Genesis Hospice. Joyce was born September 4, 1949 to the late Harry J. and Juanita I. (Shumate) Matheney. In addition to her parents, Joyce is also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert E. Harrier; sister, Susie Orr; and brother, Patrick Matheney. 
Joyce leaves to cherish her memory, her loving children, Donnie (Jackie) Urban and Esther Hassell; beloved grandchildren, Kennedy and Lauren Hassell; sister, Donna (Jimmy) Matheney McCumber; several nieces and nephews; her beloved, spoiled chihuahua, Adde; and a host of other family and friends. 
Joyce was known to enjoy crocheting. In her free time, she could be found relaxing, watching her old western movies, or game shows. Joyce had a sweet tooth, and there were always some sweet treats on the coffee table. She was a loving mother and grandmother, who will be deeply missed.
Per Joyce's wishes, cremation has been chosen and no services will be observed at this time. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
