Larry Gibson Obituary

Larry Lee Gibson, 81, of Zanesville Ohio, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026, under the care of Genesis Hospice. Larry was born in Zanesville Ohio on February 9, 1944, to Harry Gibson and Ollie Snode. In addition to his parents, Larry is also preceded in death by his stepfather, Harry Snode; and his wife, Joy Gibson.

Larry leaves to cherish his memory, his son, Mike (Karyn) Gibson; daughters, Susie (Jamie) Cameron and Heidi (Larry “Train” Robinson) Gibson; grandchildren, Alex, Tanner, Graham, Madison, Leyton, Chase and Alysha; 5 great grandchildren with 1 on the way; sister in laws, Judy Presley and Jerri (Dave Goodman) Rutledge; brother in law, James Eveland; 3 very special cousins, Trudy and Judy Fountain and Tim Fields; 2 special friends, Debbie and Kathy.

Larry worked for over 50 years driving semi and delivered pizzas for Creno’s after retiring. He enjoyed playing music in the nursing homes and gambling. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.

A caring cremation will take place under his wishes. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
