Lois Leasure Debord Obituary

Lois Ellen Leasure Debord, 89, of Zanesville, Ohio gained her Eternal Reward on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at her daughter Jan's home, in Carroll, Ohio. Lois was born November 18, 1932 to the late Virgil E. and Grace E. (Rollins) LeFever. In addition to her parents, Lois is also preceded in death by her husband, Jack Leasure; husband of a second union, Carl McPeck; husband of a third union, Eugene Debord; and sisters, Verna Hilliard, Eileen Waller and Siouxze Essence.

Lois leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved children, Carolyn (Bob) Ankrom, Sherrie (Rex) Mahel, Diane Cox, Jan (Tom) Robinson and Julie (Brad) Alberston; beloved grandchildren, Scott and Shawn Ankrom, Heath Dawson, Ashley Redman, Anthony Cox, Liz Jennings, Thomas Robinson and Gregory, Derrick and Brandi Eppley; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Marie LeFever and Maxine Rice; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends. 

Lois was a lover and follower of Jesus Christ who modeled her life as such. She was a long-time, dedicated member of Norval Park Church of Christ. Lois loved helping others. She would often send cards and visit with those who were unable to leave their homes. Lois loved flowers, especially red roses. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend who will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. 

You may call on the family Tuesday, March 1, 2022 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., as well as Wednesday, March 2, 2022 from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m., with funeral service to follow Wednesday at 12 p.m., all of which is to be held at Norval Park Church of Christ, 845 Arch St., in Zanesville. Ministers Keith Kress and Paul Lowe officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
