Lonnie "Too Tall" Chason Jr. Obituary

Lonnie “Too Tall” Chason Jr., 77, passed away on April 2, 2025. Lonnie was born on July 4, 1947, to Julia and Lonnie Chason Sr. In addition to his parents, Lonnie is also preceded in death by his brothers, John David Murphy and Bill Murphy both of Evergreen, Alabama; sister. Lorraine Talbert of Detroit Michigan.

Lonnie leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 35 years, Vickey Chason; 5 daughters, Charnette Clark of North Carolina, Virginia Hollins formally from Zanesville, Julia Chason, Lena Chason and Evelyn Chason all of Zanesville; one son, Lonnie Andrew Chason III; several grandchildren; as well as several other friends and family.

Lonnie was a past member of The Only Ones motorcycle club. He retired from Dollar General warehouse. His hobbies included, sitting on the front porch waving at people, he didn't know a stranger. He also had a great love for fishing. Lonnie will be deeply missed by all that knew him.

Cremation has been chosen and no services will be observed. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
