Margaret Rose Jenkins

Margaret R. Jenkins, 78, a longtime Zanesville resident, passed away at Genesis Hospice Morrison House on February 13, 2023, following a short (non-COVID) illness. Margaret Rose was born in Columbus, Ohio, in 1944. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul R. and Rosemary W. Cooperrider, of Zanesville.

Margaret is survived by a son, Jeff (Deirdre) Jenkins, a granddaughter, Rosemary Jenkins, of Columbus, as well as a cousin, Forrest (Martha) Cooperrider, of Thornville.

Margaret enjoyed spending time with her family and a wide circle of friends, reading broadly, dancing at Marjorie Holzschuher Dance Studio, and participating in several productions of the Zanesville Community Theater.

Margaret also enjoyed her time with the caring staff and community of friends at the Adams Lane Healthcare and Rehabilitation center in Zanesville.

In keeping with Margaret’s wishes, no funeral or memorial service will be held.
