Mark Filkill Obituary

Mark Allen Filkill, 59, of Zanesville, Ohio, passed away Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Genesis Hospital. Mark was born January 2, 1962 to Carolyn Sue (Gebhart) and the late Donald Ivyn Filkill.
Mark leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Amy (Barnett) Filkill; his dedicated mother, Carolyn Filkill; beloved daughter, Sara Filkill; step-son, Daniel B. Wolfe; siblings, Darren Filkill, of Fl. and Stephanie Filkill; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
Mark was a hardworking man, who worked as a farmer. In his free time, he enjoyed outdoor activities such as fishing and hunting. Mark was a loving husband, father and son. He will be missed.
Per the family's wishes, cremation has been chosen. A private family memorial service in Mark's honor will be held at a later date. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
