Mark Alan King

Mark Alan King, 48, of Zanesville, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2020 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Mark was born July 31, 1971 to Barbara Ann (Hodgson) and the late Kenneth Eugene King. In addition to his father, Mark is also preceded in death by a grandson, SGT Jorden Thomas Williams.
Mark leaves to cherish his memory, his dedicated wife, Connie D. (Sweeney) King; sons, Kyle (Kaitlin) King, Marcus King and Matthew King; grandson, Grayson King; other relatives, Josh (Amber) Hayes, Mikey Hayes, Aimee (David) Nilson, Tiffany (Keith) Arnold; Dallas, Zoe, Hayes, Kaid and Mylee; Arnold Andrew Nilson; special buddy, Kurt Allen; and a host of other family and friends. 
Mark was a 1989 graduate of Maysville High School. He went on to become a dedicated father and sports coach. Mark lived his life as a die-hard Raiders Fan. He enjoyed any and everything related to sports. Mark was also an avid chess player. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Per the family's wishes, cremation has been chosen and a memorial service in Mark's honor will be held at a later date. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
