Mary "Wahoo" Louise Stevens

Mary “Wahoo” Louise Stevens, 89, of Zanesville Ohio, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024. Mary was born on February 16, 1935, to Lesta and Earl Hamler. In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Lewis (Pewee) Stevens; children, Mike, Larry and Judy; siblings, Ruth, Ed, Nancy and Frances.

Mary leaves to cherish her memory, her son, David (Marilyn) Stevens; daughter, Lesta (David) Harkness; brother, Bill Hamler; several grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as many other friends and family.

Mary loved to chew tobacco. She was also known for her cooking, which she always enjoyed. Mary liked to take motorcycle rides when she was able. Most of all Mary enjoyed her time with her family and friends. You could often find Mary pulling pranks or jokes on the ones she loved. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

You may call on the family on Thursday, June 27, 2024, from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. with funeral services starting at 1 p.m. at Burrell Funeral Services, 414 LaSalle St. Zanesville Ohio 43701. Burial will follow the funeral in Woodlawn Cemetery. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
