Norma Ford Obituary

Norma Jean Ford, 59, of Zanesville, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2020. Norma was born March 21, 1961 to the late Norman E. and Betty E. (Spicer) Chalfant. In addition to her parents, Norma is also preceded in death by her brothers, Walter "Eddie" and Ronnie; and a sister, Betty Eileen.
Norma leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved husband, Stephen L. Ford; her children, Ricky Pierce, JoAnn Cornell, and Mark Pierce; 9 grandchildren; sisters, Cheryl Trusler, Beverly Terrill, Patty Morrison, all of Zanesville, and Candice Ciuto, of Georgia; her dear pet dog, Krunk; and a host of other family and friends.
Norma loved to spend time outdoors fishing. She and Stephen were avid card players, often participating in Euchre tournaments. Norma loved and adored her grandchildren and played an instrumental role in helping to raise them. She loved games, especially those she could play on her cellphone. Norma was skilled in automobile mechanics, a trait she learned from her father. She had been known to enjoy crocheting, creating beautiful blankets. She will be deeply missed by many.
You may call on the family, Wednesday, July 22, 2020 from 12 p.m.  until 2 p.m., at Burrell Funeral Services. Cremation will follow. Per CDC recommendations, all guests will be asked to wear a self provided face covering. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
