Pamela Sue (Stevens) Passwaters, 63, of Zanesville, Ohio passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at Morrison House Hospice, surrounded by loved ones. Pamela was born March 1, 1960, in Zanesville, daughter of Gladys Marlene (Wickham) and the late Wayne Brandom. In addition to her father, Pamela is also preceded in death by her late husband, Jeffrey L. Stevens; a great-niece, Charity Marie Curry; sister-in-law, Linda Crum; brother-in-law, David Hitchcock, Sr.; and a special friend, Debbie "Flipper" Rogers.
Pamela leaves to mourn her passing, her loving husband, Gary Lee Passwaters; her mother, Gladys Marlene Brandon; beloved children, Tashia (Kyle) Moore, Jeff (Marjorie) (Lashley) Stevens and Raygen Stevens; siblings, Phyllis Peck, Bob (Krista) Brandom, Patty (Tom) Gray, Polly (Jeff) Curry, Ronnie (Lisa) Brandom, Penny Hitchcock, John Crum and Carol (Carl) Hays; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous nieces and nephews; special friend, Tina Rodgers; and a host of other loved ones.
Pamela attended the vocational school before going on to enjoy a career as head of housekeeping at the Comfort Inn of Zanesville. She also dedicated employment to the Downtown Lounge and Essex. In her free time, Pamela enjoyed going to the Eagles and dancing the night away with her husband, Gary. She loved BBQs, bonfires and beers with her family. Pamela loved spending time with her grand babies, they were her world. She enjoyed gambling and watching her favorite TV shows, which include: NCIS, Bones, First 48 Hours and Law & Order SVU. Pamela is going to be deeply missed by all who loved her.
You may call on the family Monday, August 28, 2023 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m., with funeral service to follow at 12 p.m., at Burrell Funeral Services, in Zanesville. Reverend Darren Tolbert officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
