Philip Nelson Clark, Jr., 56, of Newark, Ohio, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2022 at his home. Philip was born December 4, 1965 in Zanesville, son of the late Philip N. and Dorothy J. (Havens) Clark, Sr. In addition to his parents, Philip is also preceded in death by several aunts, uncles and cousins; and his beloved adopted daughter, Rhandi Michele Freitag.
Philip leaves to mourn his passing, his beloved children, Wesley Clark, Caleb Clark, Alex (Kaitlyn Morrison) Clark and Tionna (Blake Hopper) Clark; cherished grandson, Keaton Cutright; brother, Stephen (Rhonda) Clark; special friend and life partner, Violet Sagowitz; special friend, James Frazee; and a host of other loved ones.
Philip worked for many years in the tree and lawn care industry. He truly loved his work. In his free time, Philip loved to be surrounded by his family and friends. More than anything, Philip cherished being a grandfather to Keaton, who was his pride and joy. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be missed.
You may call on the family Friday, December 9, 2022 from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m., with funeral service to follow at 2 p.m., at Burrell Funeral Services in Zanesville. Minister Joe Dunlap officiating. Per the family's wishes, cremation will follow. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
