Richard Craig Freitag, II

Richard Craig Freitag, II, 40, of Zanesville, Ohio, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2023. Richard was born December 27, 1982 in Zanesville, son of Richard C. and Donna (Westfall) Freitag. Richard is preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Rhandi Michele Freitag; his grandparents, Alice B. and Gary L. Crago; and an uncle, Ronald Fulk.
Richard leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Sadie Mae (Humphreys) Freitag; his beloved children, Arianna, Richard, III and Evan Freitag; his parents, Richard and Donna Freitag; siblings, Brett Freitag, Jacob Freitag and Samantha White; sistesr-in-law, Jessi Humphreys and Misty Humphreys; mother-in-law, Penny Humphreys; aunt, Cheryl Fulk; several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Dailyn Cox; several cousins, including special cousins, Lacey Nelson and Nick Fulk; and a host of other family and many friends. 
Richard was a good man with a heart of gold. He had a beautiful smile that would light up any room. Richard was kind and would help anyone in need. He'd give the shoes off his feet if it meant someone else wouldn't go barefoot. Though Richard battled many demons, he remained strong in the face of them all. Richard was a unique and misunderstood soul, and his family considers themselves blessed to have had him.
