Richard John Kennedy Sharrer

Richard John Kennedy Sharrer, 63, of Zanesville Ohio, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2024. Richard was born on November 9, 1960, to Wilber and Goldie (Stires) Sharrer. In addition to his parents, Richard is preceded in death by his brothers, Donald, Thomas, John, Gary, Pearle and Jim; sisters, Christine Dayton and Helen Robinson.

Richard leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Anita (Greg) Gill and Richard (Lisa) Sharrer; grandchildren, Degan Sharrer, Zariah Moorehead, Conner Yonley, Autumn Sharrer, Zackarei Gill and Kyleigh Gill; great grandchildren, Freya Sharrer and expecting another one soon, Amity; two sisters, Marlene Davenport and Freda Sharrer; many loving nieces and nephews; as well as several other friends and family.

Richard loved cars. He was an avid Dodge lover and enjoyed anything classic. Richard was part of the Y-City Model Car Club and loved anything to do with model cars. He also enjoyed going to car shows, drag racing and dirt track racing. Richard will be missed by all that knew him. 

You may call on the family on Friday, November 1, 2024, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Burrell Funeral Services. Funeral Services will start at 12 p.m. with burial following in Woodlawn cemetery. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
