Robert Allen Johnson

Robert A. Johnson, 87, of Zanesville, OH, went to meet his Lord and savior on August 31, 2021.
Robert was born to the late William and Liza (Kennedy) Johnson, on August 4, 1934, in Philippi, WV. In addition to his parents, Robert is also preceded in death by a sister, Daisy Newman; 3 brothers, William, Frank and Albert; 4 children, Roger, Johnny and Donna Johnson and Margie Daggett; two granddaughters, Telena and Wendy Johnson; and 4 great grandchildren.
Robert was a very hard working man who retired from Royal Cleaners and also built the family home.
Robert has over 200 living relatives, including his daughters, Virginia “Mini”Johnson and April (Sam) Huffman; his son, Donnie (Leeann) Caldwell, all of Zanesville, OH; 21 grandchildren, including his “baby dolls”, Talisha, Dawna, Natasha and Biatta; 32 great-grandchildren; 12 great great-grandchildren; a sister, Rosie (Bill) Berdine, of Phillipi, WV; Moses Johnson, of Zanesville;and many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Linda (Jeff) Sowers; special friend, Julie Gilreath; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Visitation for Robert will be held September 7, 2021 from 1-1:30 p.m., at Kittle Funeral Home, 265 Beech Ave., in Philippi Wv. Graveside service and burial will follow in their family cemetery. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Genesis 4 west and the staff of hospice for their care of Robert. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
