Robert Morton Faulk, age 83, born in Gilpen Township, Pennsylvania, to Theodore Roosevelt and Martha Mcador Faulk, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2024. He has resided in Zanesville, Ohio for 48 years. Better known as "Chicken Man", he cooked chicken for many years for the Washington Township Fire Department. Robert never met a stranger. He volunteered for many years at Pleasant Grove Elementary and later at National Road Elementary School. He made sure the children were guarded while he was on duty.
Robert leaves behind a sister, Phyllis Douglass; sisters-in-law; Bonnie Faulk, Donna Faulk and Rosalie Faulk; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Robert was also preceded in death by siblings, John, Bill, Jim, Phil and Marthabelle.
Per the family's wishes, a caring cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held in Robert's honor at a later date. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
