Robert "Bob" Eugene Bowers

Robert “Bob” Eugene Bowers, 75, of Zanesville, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at Genesis Morrison house. Bob was born on February 4, 1949, to Winfield “Pete” and Ruth Bowers. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Bowers; brothers, Elmer and Butch Bowers and a daughter, Bobbie Jo Hardesty.

Bob leaves behind his daughter, Andrea (Scott) Doyle; grandson, Timothy Doyle; siblings, Linda Griffiths and Nancy Shaw; several good friends and many nieces and nephews.

Bob loved dirt track racing and all things related to cars. He retired from McLoughlin Auto Sales. He was one of the best auto body techs and his work was a true art. He never knew a stranger. He was always kind and will be deeply missed by all that knew him.

Per Bob’s wishes, cremation has been chosen. There will be a celebration of life held at a later date. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
