Russell Alvin Tilley

Russell Alvin Tilley, 69, of Zanesville Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at his home. Russell was born on May 14, 1955, to Billey and Betty (Gladman) Tilley.

Russell leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 44 years, Shirley Tilley; children, Jack (Tiffoni) Morgan and Jessica (Nick) Paynter; grandson, Jake Morgan; sister, Sue (John) Laris; twin brother, Rick (Pam) Tilley and youngest brother, Billey (Terri) Tilley; as well as several other friends and family.

Russell loved to go fishing and hunting. He retired from Ohio CAT. Russell was a founding member of the Down Bikers Fund Inc. He was also a lifetime member of ABATE of Ohio as well as the AMA. Russell enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be missed by all that knew him. 

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at St. Paul Cemetery in Sonora Ohio at 11 a.m. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
