Ruth Ann (Glaneman) Caplinger

Ruth Ann Caplinger, 73, of Zanesville, Ohio passed away Saturday, June 27, 2020. Ruth was born January 24, 1947 to the late Bonnard and Martha Mary (Holland) Glaneman. In addition to her parents, Ruth is also preceded in death by Sandy Glaneman.
Ruth leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved husband Earnest W. Caplinger, Jr.; her children, James Scott (Christy) Land, Shannon Caplinger and Mindy Caplinger; five grandchildren, Megan Land, Jessica Land, Johnathan Barnett, Julie Barnett, and Logan Caplinger; four great-grandchildren; brother, Chet Glaneman; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
Ruth was a skilled seamstress who loved to sew and make beautiful quilts. More than anything, Ruth enjoyed the time spent with her family, especially her grandkids. She will be deeply missed. You may call on the family Wednesday, July 1, 2020 from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m., funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. Pastor Aaron Bounds officiating. Cremation will follow.
