Stephen Sims, Sr. Obituary

Steven Eugene Sims, 65, of Philo, Ohio, died at his home, on Saturday, March 7, 2020. Steven was born April 10, 1954 in Zanesville, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Elva Sims; children, Steven Sims Jr., and Matthew James Sims; siblings, Robert Lewis Sims Jr., and William Lee Sims.

Steven is survived by his children, Christopher Nelson Sims, Lisa (Devonne) Coleman Romine, Stephanie Sims, and Breanna Sims; 10 Grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; siblings; Jeff (Robin) Sims, Terry Sims, Jerry Sims, Rita (Robert) Norris, Rebecca (Kenny) Jefferson, Beverly (Robert) Hatfield and Peggy (Joe) Demarzo.

Steven was an avid car enthusiast, mainly enjoying old cars. Steven also enjoyed country music along with playing his guitar. Steven will be remembered by those who knew him and missed by many. Cremation has been chosen. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
