Steve D Thomas Sr.

Steve Daniel Thomas Sr., 77, of Zanesville Ohio, passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2024. Steve was born on January 10, 1947, to Harold Fredrick and Imagene (Lake) Thomas. In addition to Steve’s parents, he is preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, Robert and Gertrude A. Burnett; great grandson, Ky’ren Cree Thomas as well as 2 sisters and 3 brothers.

Steve leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 56 years, Patricia Thomas; children, Steve (Patty) Thomas Jr. and Stacy Dawn Thomas; grandchildren, Kayla (Kish), Karly (Kwame), Anthony and Ryan; 2 great grandchildren; his best friend, Rocky Balboa; special aunt, Sharon E. Andrews; as well as several other friends and family.

Steve enjoyed doing yard work and other projects around the house. He also liked to go fishing and watch Jeff Gordon race. Steve was known for sitting on his porch and enjoying watching the cars and people go by. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him. 

You may call on the family on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at Burrell Funeral Services from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. and again on Thursday August 1, 2024, from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. with funeral services starting at 1 p.m. Burial will follow the funeral service in Memorial Park Cemetery.
