Steven Russell Obituary

Steven Donald Russell, 64, of Zanesville Ohio, passed away on Monday, January 5, 2026. Steven was born on December 11, 1961, to Thomas Jr. and Connie (Turner) Russell. In addition to his parents, Steven is also preceded in death by his brother, Matthew Russell.

Steven leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Lindsay Jo Russel of Columbus OH, Mandi Lou Cook of Cape Cod, MA and Collin (ShyAnne) Williams; several grandchildren; sisters, Paula Russell and Tammy Rodgers both of Columbus OH; nephews, Matthew Crumbaker of Hillard OH and Brody Nelson of Columbus OH; great niece, Lily Moore of Columbus OH; as well as several other friends and family.

Steven loved working outside, riding his bike, walking, good coffee, music, sports and loved to eat. He also enjoyed the Zanesville community, especially the “Duck Pond”. Steven enjoyed going to church and his church community.

Cremation has been chosen. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
