Steven Joe Swendryck

Steven Joe Swendryck Sr., 70, of Zanesville Ohio, passed away on Monday, May 12, 2025. Steve was born on October 2, 1954, to Melvin and Dorothy Parker. In addition to his parents, Steve is preceded in death by his siblings, Jim and Rella; two nieces, Lisa and Laura; brother in laws, Tom, Terry, Ralph and P.T. and a nephew, Terry Lee.

Steve leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 50 years and best friend, Debbie Swendryck; four children, Steven Jr. (Misty) Swendryck, Stephanie (Joe) Metz, Staci (Eugene) Barnett and Teresa (Donald) Davidson; grandchildren, Seaira, Deion, Trevor, Colten, Brooklynn, Darius, Kobe, Drew, Paige, Devon, Jada and Keaira; 8 great grandchildren with 2 more on the way; siblings, Betty (Karl) Ray, Connie Thomas, Sue (Steve) Beach, Donna Moore; special friends, David Snurr, Aaron Beach, Erik Beach and Brian Crawford; as well as several other friends and family. 

Steve was a loving family man who enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was known to be a jokester, often bringing laughter out of the people around him. Steve enjoyed going fishing in his free time. He also enjoyed working on cars, often telling people how to do it. Steve was a man that would drop anything he was doing to help anyone in need. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.

You may call on the family on Friday, May 16, 2025, from 4pm until 6pm at Burrell Funeral Services, 414 LaSalle St. Zanesville Ohio 43701. Cremation has been chosen. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
