Susan E. Conaway

Susan E. Sturgill-Nelson-Conaway, 74, of Zanesville, Ohio, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2022 at Genesis Hospice. Susan was born July 13, 1948 in Zanesville, daughter of the late Sarah (Epler) Sletzer and John Sturgill. In addition to her parents, Sarah (Ralph) Sletzer and John Sturgill Susan is also preceded in death by her son, Terry Nelson II.
Susan leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Frank Conaway; her daughters, Angela (Steve) Miller and Kristy (Scott) Wood; sister, Sharon Sletzer; grandchildren, Erica Elson, Rusty Wheeler, Nick Wood, Krystal Wood, Dylan, Cody, DJ and Devin Nelson; five great-grandchildren; five step-children; life long friend, Jayne Patterson; and a host of other family members and friends. 
Susan enjoyed all things weiner dog themed and owned several Dachshunds during her life. In her free time, Susan was known to enjoy attending a game of BINGO. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed. 
Per Susan's wishes, cremation has been chosen and no services will be observed at this time. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
