Susan Marie Martin

Susan Marie Martin, 49, of Zanesville, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021. Susan was born July 14, 1972 to the late Paul W. and Ruthann (Dochstader) Vorys, in Cheektowga, NY. In addition to her parents, Susan is also preceded in death by her uncle, John Dochstader; paternal grandparents, Charles S. and Myrtle M. Colliflower; and maternal grandparents, Alan and Virginia Dochstader.
Susan leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Robert Martin; her beloved sister, Wendy (Christopher) Fracker; step-father, Charles W. Colliflower; niece, Ashley Nockengost; nephews, Cef (Brittany) Fracker, Zachary Burkley, Johnathan Burkley and Nicholas Burkley; great-nieces, Kiara Fracker, Artemis Fracker and Addilynn Burkley; special friends, Dairyen Morgan, who she loved like a younger brother, Erica Staszak, who was a cousin as well as a friend, and a dear friend, Kenny White; beloved pet, Bella; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Susan loved to dote on her loving dog, Bella. She was a Zane State College graduate, completing her degree in culinary arts. Susan was a chef by trade and loved to cook. When she was younger, Susan was a flutist who loved to march in the marching band. Above most else, Susan loved time spent with her family. She was a beautiful soul, gone far too soon. Per the family's wishes, cremation has been chosen and no services will be observed at this time. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
