Ture Imani Obituary
Ture A. Imani, 35, of Zanesville, Ohio, passed away Friday, October 23, 2020. Ture was born September 9, 1985 to Rasheed Asamad and the late Rafika Imani. In addition to his beloved mother, Ture is also preceded in death by an uncle, Brian "Kevin" Brown; and an aunt, Tina Brown.
Ture leaves to cherish his memory, his grandmother, Elaine E. Brown; his brothers, Kwame Imani and Sekou Imani; and a host of other family members and friends.
Ture was musically inclined, with a special affinity for horned instruments. He was able to play a variety of instruments. He was also a dedicated member of New Paradise Baptist Church, in San Diego, California and was strong in his Christian Faith. Ture was an extremely loving, easy-going person. He didn't curse his fellow man, but met everyone with kindness. He will be deeply missed by many. Cremation has been chosen and a memorial service in Ture's honor will be held at a later date.
