Vicki Lynn (Gildow) Watts

Vicki Lynn Watts, 71, of Zanesville, Ohio, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2022 at Genesis Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Vicki was born July 31, 1951, daughter of the late Gordon and Shirley (Moore) Gildow. In addition to her parents, Vicki is also preceded in death by her brother, Gordy Gildow; several aunts and uncles; several beloved brothers and sisters-in-law; and her beloved pet dog, Zoe.
Vicki leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Keith Watts; her beloved children, Lori Gildow, Matt (Terri) Watts and Heidi (Jim) McDonough; cherished grandchildren, Kayla (Jake), Kaden (Addison), Sadie and Easton; great-grandchildren, Hunter and Hudson; siblings, Carol (Steve) Davis, Terry (Beth) GIldow and Sondra Gildow; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gene (Christine) Watts, David (Sandy) Watts, Rita Sciocchetti, Cindy Watts and Kay Reed Watts; several nieces and nephews that she cherished and loved as her own; all of her honorary children, whose lives she helped shape at Maysville High School; as well as other friends and family.
Vicki dedicated many years of employment to Maysville School District where she worked in the cafeteria. In her free-time, she loved to cheer for her Ohio State Buckeyes and enjoy a good dirt track race. Vicki loved to dote on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, always doing her best to attend their sports functions where she enjoyed cheering them on. Over all else, family was Vicki's life. She will be greatly missed by all who had the opportunity to know her.
You may call on the family Wednesday, November 16, 2022 from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m., as well as Thursday, November 17, from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m., with funeral service to follow Thursday at 1 p.m., all of which is to be held a Burrell Funeral Services in Zanesville. Minister and nephew Donnie Watts officiating. Please wear your Buckeye gear in honor of Vicki. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery, in Sonora. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
