Willie "Buck" Marteney Obituary

Willie “Buck” Harold Marteney, 81, of Zanesville Ohio, passed away on September 18, 2025, at Willow Haven Nursing home surrounded by his family. Buck was born on October 29, 1943, to Ora Mae (Lambert) and Andrew Marteney. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his sister, Betty, Ruth, Mary, Edith and Idell; brothers, Emory, June, Clinton, Henry and Vearl.

Buck leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Lora Paisley (Marteney); sister, Shelby; brother, Charles; several nieces and nephews; stepsons, Jimmy, Terry, Marvin and Mike; special friends, Martha, Todd and Georgiana; as well as many other friends and family.

Buck was a very sweet and loving man. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on cars, country music and collecting old coins. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.

Per his wishes, cremation has been chosen. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
