Kelly is the daughter of Robert and Lynn Burrell. She is a 2014 graduate of Zanesville High School. She graduated from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 2016.  Kelly has also passed her National Funeral Director Board Exam.  She has finished her Bachelors Degree at Point Park Univ. in Pittsburgh in 2017. She is currently a Licensed funeral director and embalmer. She enjoys working with her father in the funeral business. She has been doing a great job and is honored to serve the community. She currently assists with making arrangements with families.

John has been an intricate member of our staff for many years. He is here for our families and assists with many aspects of the business.  He is the father of three and a grandfather.  


Judd Murvine

Judd is the son of Jacque McClelland. He is a 2014 graduate of Maysville High School. He is a 2016 graduate of the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and has also obtained his Bachelor Degree from the Point Park University in Pittsburgh in 2017. Judd recently received certification as a crematory operator.  He has returned to work with the funeral home and is serving his apprenticeship . He has been doing a great job serving the community. He currently assists in all aspects of the funeral home.

Glen McFarland

Glen McFarland

Insurance Representative

 Glen was born in West Virginia and moved to Ohio in 1975 at the age of 34.  He worked for Du Pont as a lab tech for 15 years, 10 of that in WVa and 5 in Circleville, Ohio before going to work as a pre need rep.  Glen had  4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls, having lost a son to heart attack in 2015 and a daughter to cancer in 2010.  He has been in the pre-need business for 37 years come February 2018.  He has enjoyed this business very much. Glen is semi-retired now, but still enjoys assisting in meeting the needs of our families in pre-arranging their funerals.  In this business, he has had the opportunity to meet many people.  

Matthew Burrell

Matthew is the son of Robert and Lynn Burrell.  He is looking forward to being a 2020 graduate of Zanesville High School.  He enjoys playing football and participating in track and field events for ZHS. He is a member of the Norval Park Church of Christ and a is true inspiration to his proud parents.

Duane Jenkins is also an experienced funeral service associate who is a true asset to our firm.  He is semi-retired and an inspiration to our younger employees with his energy and enthusiasm.  


Karen Sommers

 Karen Sommers, is a lifelong resident of Zanesville.  She and her husband, Robert have two sons.  Karen is retired from Muskingum Co. Starlight School where she enjoyed 28 years of service as a Teachers Assistant.

Karen greets our families and their family and friends for calling hours.  Her compassion for our families is much appreciated.

Roland resides in Columbus and was an employee at the Crosby Funeral Home for many years.  His assistance and guidance is an important part of our support staff and assists in many of the duties needed to serve our families during funeral services and memorial services.

Deanna has served as a greeter for many years.  Her compassion for our families is much appreciated.
