Dixie Ann Mills, 79, of Zanesville passed away Friday, April 8, 2016 at her home. She was born January 1, 1937 to the late George and Permila (Kleinhoffer) Evans. 
In addition to her parents, she is preceded by her husband, Earl Clifford Mills; brothers, Lloyd, George, Paul, Herbert, Albert, and Larry Evans; a son, Earl Clifford Mills Jr.; and a special grandson, Leonard Daniel Mills Jr. 
Dixie is survived by a son, Leonard D. (Mary) Mills Jr.; five grandchildren, Terri (Matt) Watts, Brad (Amanda) Mills, Chad Mills, Billy Wescott, and Jason Mills, all of Zanesville; two great-grandchildren, Kayla and Kaden Watts; one great great grandchildren, Hunter Beem; one sister, Bonnie (Paul) Yost; brothers, Louis (Mary) Evans, Nelson (Etta) Evans, and Jerry (Martha) Evans; several nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends. 
Dixie enjoyed cooking and baking. In her free time, she loved to play Bingo and playing cards. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
