Joseph F. Wagner, Jr.  88, of Dresden went to be with his Lord surrounded by loved ones at Genesis Hospital, October 23, 2016.  He was born August 1, 1928 to the late Joseph and Evelyn Wagner in Zanesville, OH.
Joe was a loving husband, father, grand and great-grandfather.  He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was a life member of Dresden VFW 11072.  He was also a member of the American Legion Post 0065.  He was also a faithful member of the Norval Park Church of Christ. 
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by wife, Leona (Reeves) Wagner and brother, Tom Wagner.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ruth Middleton Wagner; children, Sherry (Dan) Darr, Trenia (Darrin) Crum, Gary (Heather) Carson, Jennifer (Rob) Ballenger; brothers, Bill (Marlene) Wagner, Larry (Donna) Wagner; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and many loving nephews and nieces.
A memorial service will be Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 11 a.m.  at Norval Park Church of Christ, 845 Arch St, Zanesville.  Minister Keith Kress will officiate.   Cremation has been chosen.  Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery with Military rites.  Condolences may be expressed at burrellfuneralservices.com.  BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
