Richard Michael "Mike" McNutt, age 55 of Zanesville, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2016 at his home. He was born July 4, 1960 to the late Richard Everett McNutt and Marybelle (Ford) Tharp. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Rich McNutt; a niece, Angel McNutt; paternal grandparents, Mac and Lela McNutt; and maternal grandparents, Benjamin and Flossie Tharp.
Mike is survived by his sisters, Kimberly (Robert) Tippie, Beverly Smith, Deborah (Troy) Marsh; brothers, Keith (Tina) McNutt, and Roger McNutt; aunt, Judy (Jim) Kelly; uncle, Sonny (Linda) McNutt; a special cousin, Shelly Curtis; a special friend, Ron Wilson; his loyal companion and best friend, his dog Roscoe; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other family members, and many friends.
Mike attended of Zanesville High School, he later went on to work for The Old Market House Inn. In his free time, he enjoyed playing bingo and taking trips to Wheeling, West Virginia. Mike was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes, and The Pittsburgh Steelers. Mike enjoyed and loved all animals. He will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
You may call on the family Sunday, April 17, 2016 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Burrell Funeral Services, 414 LaSalle Street. The service will be held Monday, April 18, 2016 at 1 p.m., also at the funeral home, Pastor John Sensabaugh will be officiating.
